The buildings and plaza at Town Center, Virginia Beach’s newest downtown area, will come ablaze with lights and music as they ring in the 2009 holiday season.  With a colorful holiday parade stepping off at 5 p.m., the excitement will build to the Center-wide illumination at 6 p.m.  A top-flight cast of performers will add their sparkle to the evening as soon as the lights are shining. The renowned Doorway Singers, a holiday dance interpreted by the Scottish Dance Theater of Virginia, the exquisite sounds of Jessica and Cathy Bryan, and the musical shenanigans of the Swinging Santas highlight a program of holiday favorites leading up to the appearance of Felicia Barton, Virginia
