MOTORCOACH PARKING IN VIRGINIA BEACH
Loading & Unloading of Passengers
Buses may safely load and unload passengers in the designated zone “Bus Stop-15 Minute Parking” on the northeastern corner of 19th Street and Arctic Avenue.
Charter buses may now load and unload passengers and park at 4th Street and Atlantic Avenue.
You may stop or park on private property, such as hotels and restaurants. And you may park in the designated motorcoach spaces at the 4th Street Municipal Parking Lot at Rudee Loop.
The spaces are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Parking fee applies.
4th St. Parking Fees:
April 1 - September 30: Daily $15.00; Overnight $25.00
October 1 - March 31: FREE
The parking lot, by city ordinance is closed from 12:00 midnight to 8:00 am, 7 days a week. You must notify a cashier or contact Resort Management Office if you need to depart anytime during these hours. For questions contact Richard Petty at 757-385-4800, rpetty@vbgov.com.
What Not To Do:
Due to new construction of our state of the art Convention Center, parking at the recently demolished Pavilion Convention Center will not be available.
Virginia Beach has a strict “Bus Ordinance” which prohibits parking or stopping buses on public streets (in resort area) to pick up or discharge passengers.
