On behalf of the City of Virginia Beach and the Virginia Beach Convention and Visitors Bureau, I would like to like to thank you for making the American Bus Association (ABA) Marketplace 2008 a huge success.
According to the American Bus Association, “The Marketplace in Virginia Beach Feb. 2-7 set records for registration across the board in every delegate member category, producing the most heavily attended Marketplace in the event’s 27-year history.” Also, feedback from event organizers and participants about our volunteers’ exceptional customer service and attention to detail has also been overwhelming. Without our Tourism Industry Partners including sponsors, volunteers and staff, none of this could have been possible. Your support and tremendous efforts are greatly appreciated!
Again, I sincerely thank you for your dedication and teamwork.
Sincerely,
James B. Ricketts
Director

Welcome to our soft sands. To the warmth of the sun on your shoulders. Welcome to another way of enjoying the day. Here, where Virginia meets the Atlantic Ocean, you’ll find the perfect combination of vibrant city and relaxed coastal town. Our three-mile boardwalk is the place to breathe in the ocean, and be part of the scene. You’ll find local cuisine at the oceanfront, as well as other restaurants in equally beautiful settings.
Natural wonders are easy to reach, with First Landing State Park and Back Bay National Wildlife Refuge putting you right in the midst of lush forests and surprising streams. Discover the ocean’s treasures at Virginia Aquarium, or go on a dolphin or whale watching outing.
